Since graduating in Interior Design, Julie’s experience gained with main stream design consultancies Fitch, Addison and Wolff Olins has provided a range of skills, which have facilitated the success of many projects, the focus of which have been commercial interiors within the finance, leisure and office sectors.

In addition, Julie has a strong understanding of corporate identity and branded environments with the ability to translate from 2D into 3D environments, as well as to develop signage solutions and systems.

Hotel and restaurant developments dominated work during employment for Granada Hospitality and the Compass Group.

Julie is an adept project manager, believing in high standards and attention to detail in terms of working process and completed work whatever the budget or project.

Julie became a partner of Barker Murray Design in July 2003.

After graduating in 1998 with a degree in Interior Design, Andie worked for two years with an architectural practice which specialised in branded developments within the leisure sector. Andie’s experience focussed on the design of bars and restaurants to include roll out work, in addition to designing for commercial office environments.

Andie also became involved in the residential sector covering refurbishments, redecoration and styling.

After a year sabbatical spent travelling, Andie returned to the UK taking an appointment with the Compass Group. Acting as ‘client’ for the Group’s many brands, this position involved the management of all the design processes necessary to develop these brands both in the UK and Europe.

From these two differing employment backgrounds, Andie has gained multi talented design skills to suit commercial and residential projects from concept through to execution and delivery.

Andie became a partner of Barker Murray Design in July 2003.
